Adelaide University unifies parking for staff and students

How the newly-formed university worked with Orikan to prioritise harmonious and consistent parking experiences across all campuses.

 

One of Australia’s newest and largest universities has teamed up with Orikan to deliver exceptional parking experiences for staff and students.

Adelaide University launched operations this year following the merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. With approximately 70,000 students and 11,000 employees, parking services are an important part of smooth operations for the newly-formed university.

Tania Milohis, Associate Director of Business Transformation & Customer Service at Adelaide University, tells us legacy parking processes from the original institutions included lots of variables, making this a complex change program:

“Parking is an emotive service area. As part of the merger, a strategic decision was made to harmonise parking services and deliver a consistent experience for stakeholders across all campuses. Following a national tender, Orikan was selected as the preferred supplier.”
