Orikan Group completes transaction to acquire Global Parking Solutions USA

Orikan Group has completed a transaction to acquire Global Parking Solutions USA (GPS USA), a parking meter system technology provider, headquartered in California, USA.

The close of the acquisition sees GPS USA’s Michael Kavur and Philippe Swale, as well as Global Sales Executive, Adrian Mandreanu, join Orikan as Executive Vice President – Americas, Director of Operations, and Director of Business Development, respectively. 

Michael Kavur  Executive Vice President Americas 

Michael has more than three decades of global experience in civil and traffic engineering, gained across the USA, Canada, UK and Australia. For more than 15 years, Michael has held the role of President, GPS USA, which he founded in 2009 to provide parking sales and services exclusively to North America. Prior to this, Michael oversaw large-scale deployments of pay and display and pay-by-space solutions for more than 10,000 pay stations across North America. Michael is a highly respected executive in the US parking community, bringing strong knowledge and capability to Orikan Group. 

 Philippe Swale – Director of Operations 

 Philippe has held the position of Director of Operations, GPS USA, for more than 15 years. He brings a unique combination of technical expertise and customer service management gained across the parking and transit industry. Throughout his career, Philippe has led numerous successful deployments in France and North America.  

 Adrian Mandreanu – Director of Business Development 

 Adrian is a Global Sales and Business Development Executive with 20 years’ experience in the parking and transportation, manufacturing and healthcare industries. For the past 11 years, Adrian has been the Principal Consultant and Founder of AM Consulting. Adrian has strong experience building partnerships, advising on international procurement, and optimising sales and go-to-market strategies. Outside of his corporate role, Adrian has also mentored as Director at Large for the Florida Parking and Transportation Association.

In preparation for this agreement, Orikan Group launched Orikan USA LLC at IPMI Parking & Mobility Conference & Expo in Louisville, Kentucky last month.
