Orikan Group enters into an agreement to acquire Global Parking Solutions USA

GPS USA is a long-term exclusive distributor of Orikan’s Metro Meters and EziCom central management system, servicing the US market for over 15 years.

The acquisition will see Michael Kavur and Philippe Swale join Orikan, bringing a wealth of local knowledge about multi-space parking meter implementation to the team.

Peter Neale, Chief Executive Officer, Orikan, says the agreement is a natural step, building on Orikan’s long-standing partnership with GPS USA.

“By joining forces, Orikan will enhance GPS USA’s services with a fully integrated set of parking technology solutions. It means we can bring Orikan’s entire suite of industry-leading services to a market we’ve been working on for a very long time,” he says.

“We have strong local knowledge and a proud, 15-year history serving communities across the US. Now we are doubling down on our investment,” Peter adds.

Michael Kavur agrees that the acquisition is a powerful opportunity to benefit local US communities with more powerful solutions.

“By teaming up we will boost our range of parking technology solutions with parking enforcement software, pay-by-cell, analytics and data insights – and more products in the pipeline,” Michael says.
